ELENE GOGODZE – DEBUT SOLO ALBUM IN PROGRESS

The Lisa Batiashvili Foundation is proud to spotlight a major artistic milestone for violist Elene Gogodze, who is currently preparing her debut solo album, featuring J.S. Bach’s Suites Nos. 1, 2, and 3 for solo viola.

This ambitious recording, produced in collaboration with CES Records, highlights Elene’s dual expertise on both modern and Baroque viola — offering a uniquely personal and stylistically insightful interpretation of Bach’s iconic works.

Alongside her album project, Elene continues to expand her creative footprint through new collaborations and performance engagements.

She is currently working with Irish composer Gavin Ronan Kennedy on a series of contemporary works for solo viola and mixed ensemble, with a planned premiere in Summer 2026 in Dublin.
